Septic Tank Installation in Quindalup

Quindalup sits between Geographe Bay and Toby Inlet, and the State's table of localities with an established reticulated sewerage scheme names it. That makes the first question here the reverse of Eagle Bay's: not whether there is sewer at all, but whether the scheme reaches this property. No source read says which lots are connected, and only the Water Corporation can.

Permits and City of Busselton rules

A septic system here needs the local government's approval before construction starts, whichever locality it is in: the Department of Health says it is an offence to start without an approval from the local government or the Department. This page does not say what any one lot needs beyond that. The City of Busselton can say for a lot, and the Water Corporation whether sewer reaches it.

Septic Tank Installation around Quindalup

The City of Busselton's policy for the Quindalup Special Character Area gives its boundary as extending north from Caves Road to the high water mark of Geographe Bay and east from Elmore Road to the mouth of Toby Inlet, and describes the land between Caves Road and Toby Inlet as very low density residential housing situated amidst several foreshore and other reserves. The State's table, in the Planning for Water Guidelines of December 2025, names Quindalup but does not define its boundary, and says lots outside the listed localities are generally serviced with on-site wastewater systems.

This is the weakest of the four pages, and it says so: the fact is a listing, not a map. A property that is connected has an old tank to decommission, which the decommissioning page covers. A property that is not needs the City's approval before an onsite system goes in, as the approval page sets out.
